Youth Program Overview

Minisink Valley Youth Lacrosse Club
 
 
 
Minisink Youth Lacrosse began in 2004 as a feeder program for the girls & boys high school teams.
 
It’s a travel program that competes in Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Dutchess counties.
 
All Home games are played at Lain Way Sports Complex Westtown, NY.  The season begins in April and ends in June.
 
Boys & Girls, grades K-8 are eligible to participate. All players are registered members of US Lacrosse, the national governing body of youth lacrosse.
 
The teams play in grade brackets so there are boys & girls levels at Grades K-2 (skills level), then 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8.  K-2 play in a "skills division" that focuses on fundamental skills and concepts.
 
The success of the program relies on the support of the Minisink Lacrosse community. There are many opportunities for volunteer efforts.
